Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark has married Princess Chrysí Vardinogiánni in a private ceremony held at the Holy Church of Saint Nicholas Ragavas in Plaka, Athens, on 2025. The ceremony was conducted by Amphilochios, Metropolitan Bishop of Kissamos and Selino.
Princess Chrysí, a member of the prominent Vardinogiánni family, wore the Antique Corsage tiara, previously donned by Princess Tatiana, Princess Nina, and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal. The wedding was attended by members of various European royal families, including Queen Sofía of Spain, Infanta Cristina of Spain, and Princess Benedikte of Denmark.
The union follows Prince Nikolaos’s divorce from Princess Tatiana Blatnik in 2024. The wedding signifies a new beginning for the prince and reflects the enduring traditions of European royal ceremonies.
The event underscores the continued significance of royal alliances and the blending of prominent families within European aristocracy.
