I Da-eun, known for her appearance on Single’s Inferno 2, recently opened up about the challenges she’s facing in her postpartum weight loss journey and surprising body changes after childbirth.
On June 15, Da-eun shared a candid update with her followers, revealing that she is now only 5 kilograms away from reaching her pre-pregnancy weight. However, despite having already lost 21 kilograms, she experienced a puzzling moment when trying on her wedding ring.
“I thought my ring would fall off—it felt loose at first—but then it was so tight that I struggled to take it off. It was a total shock,” she said.
Da-eun expressed confusion over how a 5 kg difference could result in such a change, speculating whether her bones or feet had gotten larger, or if lingering swelling from pregnancy was the cause. “Is it because it’s my second child? Is that how sons are? I feel a bit down for no reason,” she added, highlighting the emotional toll such changes can bring.
Despite the frustration, Da-eun remains motivated. Weighing 60 kg at present, she reaffirmed her goal to drop an additional 5 kg, hoping to change the first digit of her weight and reclaim her pre-baby body.
Da-eun and her husband Yoon Nam-ki—whom she met on the dating reality show and married in 2022—recently welcomed their second son. The couple continues to receive widespread support and congratulations from fans.
