Manchester, UK – Annie Kilner-Walker, wife of Manchester City and England footballer Kyle Walker, has launched her own jewellery brand, Demure Diamonds, in partnership with friend Sophie Haynes. The duo unveiled the new venture at an exclusive event in Manchester, showcasing a line of “affordable” diamond pieces aimed at modern women seeking both style and substance.
The launch event, held at the newly opened Ocasa bar in Spinningfields, was hosted in collaboration with The Limelight Collection and Julie Perry Events. Attendees included high-profile guests from the VIP and luxury lifestyle sectors.
Annie, 33, arrived at the event wearing a stylish black bandeau top paired with fashionable barrel jeans. Her look was elegantly elevated with pieces from her own collection — notably a statement necklace valued at £150,000 and a sparkling diamond ring.
Speaking about the inspiration behind Demure Diamonds, Annie said: “I’ve worked with jewellery from a young age and have always had a deep passion for it — turning creativity into timeless pieces has always felt natural to me.”
Demure Diamonds is positioned as a premium yet accessible fine jewellery brand. According to the founders, the brand was born out of a perceived gap in the market for contemporary, meaningful, and affordable luxury pieces. Items in the collection start from around £500 and range up to £1 million for the most extravagant showpieces.
The collection includes a variety of designs, from engagement rings and necklaces to more playful fashion-forward items. Demure Diamonds offers both lab-grown and natural diamonds, with each piece designed and curated by Annie, Sophie, and their creative team.
Publicity materials for the brand emphasize its emotional appeal, stating: “You’ll love our brand because it’s built around making women feel truly special—offering timeless, sentimental pieces that bring joy and confidence.” The company’s tagline reads: “Because diamonds are a girl’s best friend… and every woman deserves to shine.”
The event was also attended by Taylor Ward, Annie’s close friend and wife of Riyad Mahrez, Kyle Walker’s former teammate at Manchester City. Taylor, who stars in the reality TV series Married to the Game, recently announced she is expecting her second child with Mahrez via an Instagram post featuring their daughter Mila and a baby scan image.
Annie and Kyle share four children. While the England defender has spent the current football season on loan with AC Milan, Annie has remained in Manchester with their family. It remains unclear whether Kyle’s loan spell in Italy will result in a permanent transfer away from Manchester City next season.
Demure Diamonds is now available to shoppers online and is expected to roll out more designs in the coming months.
