Lutes proposed to Lovato in December 2023, orchestrating an elaborate surprise complete with roses, candles, and butterflies suspended from the ceiling. The emotional moment culminated in a personal performance of a song he had written and learned to play on the guitar specifically for the occasion.

Celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss curated the entire wedding weekend. The festivities commenced Saturday night with a rehearsal dinner at Arnoldi’s Café. For the evening, Lovato wore a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown featuring a high slit, setting the tone for a weekend of refined fashion and intimate celebration.
Though Southern California weather was unusually overcast on the big day, the clouds parted just in time for the 4 p.m. ceremony. Lovato walked down the aisle in a custom pearl-white Vivienne Westwood gown with a corseted bodice and draped neckline. The couture piece was the result of five fittings with the Westwood team, who traveled from London to Los Angeles to perfect the design.
“I’ve loved Vivienne Westwood for years,” Lovato said. “The dress made me feel so confident in my body—it was everything I wanted.”
