LG Electronics recently hosted a unique wedding vow ceremony titled “Love to Laundry” at New York’s iconic High Line Park, the company announced on June 10. The event brought together 10 couples, each with inspiring personal stories, who were selected through a pre-event application process.
As part of the celebration, LG supported these couples by organizing an intimate vow ceremony and gifting each pair a WashTower — the company’s premium laundry appliance. The event space was creatively designed with WashTowers adorned in stained-glass patterns, complementing the scenic urban backdrop of the High Line Park, a major New York attraction that draws approximately 8 million visitors annually.
The ceremony is a key element of LG’s ongoing Love to Laundry campaign, launched last year to emphasize the importance of spending quality time with family and loved ones, while benefiting from LG’s innovative laundry technology. Featuring advanced, user-friendly features, LG’s laundry appliances aim to simplify household chores and enhance everyday living.
LG Electronics plans to extend the Love to Laundry campaign across the United States through July, bolstering its position in the premium laundry appliance market. The company will roll out additional campaign initiatives including new video screenings on the Times Square billboard and collaborative content with popular influencers.
Highlighting LG’s strong market presence, the company was recently ranked number one in key categories such as drum washing machines, top-load washing machines, and agitator washing machines by Consumer Reports, a leading U.S. consumer media outlet. Furthermore, LG secured the top spot as the most reliable appliance brand for the sixth consecutive year, reinforcing its reputation for quality and innovation.
