A Highland piper from Herefordshire has received recognition at the 2025 Scottish Wedding Awards.
Keith Wellings, based in Hope under Dinmore, was “highly commended” and secured second place in the prestigious Piper of the Year category.
The awards, organized by Creative Oceanic, celebrated the finest talent in Scotland’s wedding industry, including venues, dressmakers, and DJs.
Wellings’ performances at weddings across Herefordshire, Scotland, and even overseas, were highlighted as key factors in his achievement.
He expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am delighted to have received this recognition for my piping in both Herefordshire and Scotland, and I would like to thank all the couples in the county who voted for me in these finals.”
The ceremony took place on February 26 in Glasgow.
